Totally bare ankles! The whole cause of demise in our society! Because ankles lead to calves, which lead to thighs, which lead to....
So, my point is that it all starts with the ankles. And men these days need little prompting to think of sex. Ankles drive men wild!
i suppose part of the pathology of blame is that no one seems to identify precisely what it is we're blaming whomever for...sorta like this post...for what ARE we placing blame...maybe I'm just slow

Poor Joan Crawford. She gets blamed for everything. I mean, the linebacker-shoulder-pad trend she spawned WAS unfortunate, but she had an excellent point about the wire hangers. They get all tangled up!
I'm tempted to say Obama is to blame, but nah. I'm going to stick with booze. My number-two choice is jazz. Jazz alone is okay, but mixed with booze, a deadly combination that leads to all kinds of moral decay.
Can I make a suggestion for Round 3? Two words: Ted Kennedy.

If I may stick my pretty little nost in this, I think that there is purpose in the ambiguity of the blame game...so that whenever someone brings up a problem: the government, the ozone, the death penalty, hurricanes rita, katrina, and stan, you have a consise answer:
bare ankles.
See? It's so easy! And people will stop asking you stupid questions - mostly because they think you're crazy. But, however you have to get them to stop is worth it!
