A Simple Question

So we have two Jehovah's Witnesses up here on the 42nd Floor. Right now, all the admin assistants are busy trying to get the Christm--Holiday cards out. But Geraldine and Cathy won't even touch them. So Candie, the receptionist, is having to send their team's stacks of cards out FOR them.

Seems awfully unfair, n'est-ce pas?

So I have a question for our Jehovah's Witness friends.

If they don't celebrate Christmas--to the point that they won't even TOUCH the company Christm--Holiday cards--then shouldn't logic dictate that they MUST come in to work on Monday the 26th when our office is closed in observance of Christmas??

By taking the day off, aren't they kind of celebrating Christmas in a roundabout way?

Oooh, good point. By the way, what is the point of corporations bending over backwards to avoid all mention of Christmas, when even their own non-Christian employees acknowledge that we're clearly talking about Christmas by another name? Silly.

Actually, we're still talking about the Feast of Babylon by another name.

who'd be there to let them in the building? and how long before they'd file a discrimination suit?

And a happy Christmachanukwanzakah to all the Jehovah's Witnesses in the House.

Ok, let's think about this. Jehovah is a form of YHWH. So it is a name for God. Jesus Christ is God and there for is YHWH or Jehovah. The Shepards were the first ones to Witness him in his Humanly form. So the First Jehovah's Witnesses were really the Shepards in the Christmas story. So, you would think they would relish this holiday... Odd that they won't even touch the cards...Unless someone used poisoned ink...or poisoned Glue on the envelope...Forky you better make sure Candie didn't croak from the glue exposure.

From now on i'm calling this season...

Christmachanukwanzakah

No one can be mad at that...except the mer-people.
