Fitness Experiment 3/24
Just weighed in. With shoes on and if I stand right in the middle of the scale, I'm a whopping 178lbs.
One more week to go. Should I slow down or go for broke?
One more week to go. Should I slow down or go for broke?
I guess that depends. How do you feel overall? And how quickly do you need to shed the body fat you've gained?
I suspect that you're young, healthy, and genetically predisposed to being slender, so it probably won't be difficult for you to cut quickly. The vitality of youth allows you to take quite a punch to the face, and get right back up like it was nothing at all.
As you get older, cutting may become a little more difficult, even eating paleo-style.
Long term, I think the most important thing is simply ridding yourself of all the inflammatory things in the SAD. If you're not feeling too awful right now, you may want to just throw caution to the wind and have at it. In the name of science, of course. :-)
